This post over on Neogaf seems to think so. Sony’s Black Hawk Down meets alien invasion movie, Battle: Los Angeles, is currently filming in Shreveport, Louisiana and Neogaf user ‘goldsoundz’ snapped a few pictures of this gem as he drove by. It would appear the 3rd instalment of the popular alien invasion FPS Resistance may well be aiming for a 2011 release date.
The news isn’t too much of a surprise, given that Insomniac Games has rotated the Ratchet and Clank series with Resistance on a yearly basis for a while now, however a 2011 release would mean Resistance 3 is receiving a much needed boost to it’s development time, something Resistance 2 did not have the luxury of.
It would also appear New York City will be a prominent location for the game, with the statue of liberty featuring prominently.
