Ubisoft have announced the next title in the Ghost Recon franchise, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Created by the team behind Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter and it’s sequel, the game is said to feature “cutting-edge technology, prototype high-tech weaponry, and state-of-the-art single-player and multiplayer modes.”
Future Soldier promises to deliver an “unparalleled level of quality that will excite long-time fans and newcomers alike”.
Additionally, a multiplayer beta is set for the Summer, though, currently, it’ll only be available on the Xbox 360 for users who purchase a copy of Splinter Cell Conviction when it releases this April.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is said to be releasing this Fall for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Wii, DS and PSP versions are also planned, though the Wii version will be developed by a different studio and focus on a “different approach … created for that Wii population.”
