DS tops 30 million sold.

The Nintendo DS has officially crossed the 30 million sold mark, as of last week.

Over 277 weeks, from the device’s launch back on December 2nd, 2004, through until March 21st, 2010, Nintendo has sold 30,030,434 branded devices, though Famitsu’s article doesn’t mention the breakdown between the DS, DS Lite, DSi and DS XXL variations.

Additionally, New Super Mario Bros. leads the pack for DS software sales, racking up an impressive 5,767,262 units sold. Pokemon Diamond & Pearl follows slightly behind that with 5,766,571 sold and Animal Crossing comes third with 5,133,862.
