Developers S2 Games have finally slapped a release date on their long-in-beta action RTS, Heroes of Newerth. Fans can expect to pick up the game in just a few weeks time, with Wednesday, May 12th the date to mark in your calendar.
S2 are also offering early orderer’s the chance to “snipe” account names before the official launch. Starting on Wednesday, May 5th, users can essentially reserve their desired username to stop people nabbing it. Of course, one of the pre-order bonuses is that you have priority when it comes to nicknames, so those taken by pre-purchasers cannot be “sniped,” so if you’re really set on xXcooldudeXx you’re gonna want to shell out the $30 now.
