Blizzard have announced that the “first phase” of the Starcraft 2 beta will come to a conclusion on May 31st.
The beta will be “unavailable for several weeks while we make some hardware and software configuration changes,” in preparation for a second beta phase closer to the games release on July 27th.
There’s a no exact date for when the second phase will kick off, but Blizzard do offer the very loose timeframe of “a couple of weeks prior to release.”
