Microsoft spent the majority of E3 focussing on the software line-up for Kinect, with a price for the peripheral noticeably absent. Now, though, the behemoth company has finally revealed pricing for the peripheral, and a new “refresher” Xbox 360 Arcade bundle.
$149.99 is the figure to remember, which consists of a bundle of the Kinect camera and the title Kinect Adventures when it launches in November. Anyone who pre-orders the pack will get a voucher to download three exclusive levels for the title.
In August, Microsoft will also release a new version of their Arcade SKU. The console, which is the same as the newly released Xbox 360 S, will feature just 4GB of internal flash memory but will retail for $200. In addition, a Kinect + 360 Arcade bundle will be available when Kinect releases in November for $300.
More than 15 games will be available at launch, with the majority fetching an RRP of $59.99.
