Despite saying we’d have to wait until October to watch 3D movies on our Playstation 3, Sony’s clocks apparently run a little fast, and the firmware that will enable the playback, version 3.50, will release next week – on September 21st.
Sony’s Japanese website also confirmed a number of other features included in the firmware, including a system to report unwanted (such as spam) PSN messages. Facebook connectivity is also getting a boost, and you’ll now be able to show your friends exactly what game you’re playing.
