A fifth movie in the Resident Evil series is in development, with release set for the U.S. on the 14th September, 2012.
Following on from the events of Afterlife, which made $236 million at the box offices, “Resident Evil 5″, as it’s known, will also be in stereoscopic 3D.
“Haters are gonna hate, but the franchise has its certain charms and I’m looking forward to what video game elements they decide to include in this new film,” said Capcom’s jgonzo on Capcom Unity.
The two year wait between Afterlife and 5 will be the shortest yet for fans of the series.
