Tomb Raider movie reboot set for 2013.

Square Enix have given the greenlight to a potential reboot of the Tomb Raider film franchise, with release planned in a little over 2 years from now – in 2013.

Variety are reporting that GK Films, who’ve most recently worked on Ben Affleck’s The Town, Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie’s The Tourist, and, most recently, Rango, will produce the flick.

“We are very excited to be rebooting what is already a hugely successful film franchise and continuing the phenomenon,” said GK Films’ Graham King.

It’s still (very) early doors for the project, so there are no actors or directors currently attached to the project.
