Annual fan convention Blizzcon won’t be happening in 2012, Blizzard has announced.
Citing it’s incredibly busy schedule, Blizzard have opted to skip the event this year, instead focussing on the 2013 event, where it’s odds-on that the studio’s long in development MMO, “Titan”, will be unveiled.
“We’re also heavily focused on getting Diablo 3, [World of Warcraft expansion] Mists of Pandaria, and [StarCraft 2] Heart of the Swarm into players’ hands as soon as possible. In light of our jam-packed schedule, we’ve decided to hold the next BlizzCon in 2013,” Blizzard explained.
None of those 3 games have announced release dates, but it’s a fairly safe bet that they’ll all be out before 2013. But when are they going to announce those dates? Nobody knows. But for all you esports fans, Blizzard have promised “more info” at the 2012 Battle.net World Championship in Asia towards the end of the year.
