Netflix streaming now live in the UK and Ireland.

Netflix UK launch After making an appearance on ′s all across the land earlier in the week, Netflix is now fully operational in the UK and Ireland.

Featuring a decent selection (more than what’s listed here, at least) and, in my opinion, superior video quality when compared to LoveFilm’s offerings, Netflix streaming is currently available as a one month trial or for £5.99/€6.99 a month.

On Playstation 3, download the Netflix app (13mb) found under “TV/Video Services” on the XMB. Unfortunately I can’t confirm the method for the , but I have heard that users may have to sign in with an American Live account, download the app, switch back to the UK account and launch the application. Don’t quote me on that, though (I don’t have a 360 to confirm). Elsewhere, the app is available on the Android store, and will presumably show up on the Wii, iOS Store and all the other devices (listed here) soon. Of course you can also sign up and stream via their website, as well.
