EA Financial round-up (Q3 FY12).

SWTOR 1.7 mil ’s latest financial results are in, and here are the bullet points.

and are EA’s most successful games for the period, and have each sold over 10 million copies. Madden 12 racked up around 5 million.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has sold through 2 million units (retail and digital) during it’s first month, with 1.7 million users considered “active” and the “majority” of those are subscribers.
TOR’s next major update will arrive sometime in March.
Pre-orders for Mass Effect 3 are ahead of where Mass Effect 2 was during the same period.
Origin has managed to attract 9.3 million users since it’s launch, largely on the back of Battlefield 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The service has generated $100 million since launch.
Battlefield 3 has sold more than 11 million copies, and more DLC is coming. Prior to the game, EA claimed to have 11% of the FPS market. The company now claims a 23% share.
Both the FIFA Ultimate Team mode and mobile games generate $100 million each for EA.
There will be five new Facebook games based on EA properties within the next year, and a “major” social game based on an EA property has been delayed for a few months.

That’s pretty much it. THQ’s financial call, which is sure to be the most interesting of the bunch, happens tomorrow.
