Mass Effect 3′s incredibly divisive ending will be getting the boot on June 26th, as BioWare releases their free “Extended Cut” DLC on Xbox 360 and PC on June 26th. Playstation 3 players in North America are also set for a happy June 26th, but there’s no date for Playstation fans in Europe.
The new content, which weighs in at 1.9GB on the download scale, will “expand upon the events at the end of Mass Effect 3 through cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes.”
According to BioWare’s own handy FAQ, players will have to load a save game from before the attack on the Cerberus Base and play through the rest of the game normally.
