Much like the Playstation 3 Slim, which had it’s identity leaked via images on an assembly line, Sony’s next model has suffered a similar fate – with very blurry images of the new console coming out of the Brazilian FCC.
The pictures, discovered by the Portuguese blog tecnoblog, show a smaller system with a ridged texture on the top, possibly for a sliding panel mechanism that will be used to insert disks into the system. The filing itself also mentions 3 SKU’s, with hard drive sizes set at 16GB, 250GB, and 500GB.
That’s all there is to the listing right now (except for the additional images below), but it’s a fairly safe bet that the system is set for a Gamescom reveal with release set for later this year.
