midnight riders Those of you who’ve played Left 4 Dead 2 will surely recognise the Midnight Riders, a fictional band Ellis seems to have an affection for. If you haven’t, the bands stage sets up the final crescendo event for the games Dark Carnival, pyrotechnics and all.

Well, now, its been revealed they have their own website, registered to a certain company named Valve. Oh, and did I mention, there just so happens to be four members? If you don’t quite grasp what I’m getting it, all of this information combined suggests players may soon be slaying zombies as a hairy man, probably through DLC.

In other Left 4 Dead 2 news, it would seem stock car driver Jimmy Gibbs Jr didn’t have much luck surviving the zombie onslaught. User ‘warriorlax5506′ over on the Steam forums discovered the model for the fictional (zombified) driver after digging around in the game files. He then preceded to spawn the guy in his game, using a series of console commands.

Players steal Jimmy Gibbs Jr’s car at the end of Dead Center campaign.
